The technical migration of 1250 servers and the move from Windows Server 2012 were carried out.

Organizational change in the banking environment

Technical conversion of 400 employees restructured in the branches.

For this purpose, the following steps were taken:

  • Conceptual design, data preparation and planning of the target situation
  • Planning and coordination of the migration path

Private school conversion to Cloud services

A technical modernization of the existing infrastructure was carried out.

Project realized for a public administration company.

Strategic introduction of Microsoft products in the area of workplace IT (Outlook, SharePoint, Skype for Business, etc.) for more than 5,000 IT users.

The following processes were carried out for this purpose:

  • Definition and setup of program and project structures
  • Budget, time and performance responsibility as program manager in a multi-client environment
  • Introduction of reporting to main management, IT management and shareholders

Provider change Network infrastructure

Project carried out for a mechanical engineering, precision mechanics and optics company. 

The following processes were carried out:

  • Analysis, evaluation and preparation of data as a planning premise for the implementation of the migration of all deployed network components and connections
  • Categorization in business criticality or production/development
  • Creation of coordination protocols with the respective shared services, external network operators and site managers
  • Preparation of documentation and reporting
  • Implementation and coordination of activities with external network operators for migration to the new service provider

Changeover Windows Server 2003

Project carried out for a mechanical engineering, precision mechanics and optics company.

The following processes were carried out:

  • Analysis, evaluation and preparation of the IT data (identification of the still existing Windows Server 2003)
  • Planning of the cleanup for 2,000 servers
  • Centralized coordination and monitoring of local IT implementation
  • Preparation of documentation and reporting

Migration Windows XP to Windows 7

Project carried out for a mechanical engineering, precision mechanics and optics company.

The following processes were performed:

  • Analysis, evaluation and preparation of IT data (identification of remaining XP customers)
  • Planning of the cleanup of 3,000 customers
  • Coordination and monitoring of local IT implementation (PDN firewall, production)
  • Preparation of documentation and reports

Network cleanup and hardware replacement

Project carried out for a mechanical engineering, precision mechanics and optics company.

The following processes were executed:

  • Analysis, evaluation and preparation of data as planning premise for the implementation of the migration of all deployed network components and connections (30,000 network ports at 4 locations)
  • Categorization into distribution, rack, patched ports, active used ports, HW inventory data, VLANs, business criticality, production/development
  • Elaboration of the process description for the changeover procedure
  • Unpatching, consolidation and hardware replacement

  • Analysis, evaluation and preparation of the data of all existing telephone numbers as a planning basis for the implementation of the migration of 15,000 telephone connections
  • Establishment of project management structures
  • Adaptation of processes for the mass rollout
  • Inventory build-up and commissioning of the new end-user devices
  • Provisioning responsibility for the largest sites
  • Decommissioning of telephone systems
  • Coordination protocol with the respective professional associations/central offices

Mail migration to Microsoft Exchange

Project carried out for a mechanical engineering, precision mechanics and optics company.

The following processes were carried out:

  • Budget, schedule and result responsibility
  • Analysis, evaluation and preparation of the Mail-In data
  • Elaboration of the process description for the migration process to Mail-In DB and group and functional mailboxes (9,000 personal and 3,000 team and functional mailboxes)

  • Exchange of clients at the workstation; creation of documentation and reporting
